Vickywood cold foam mattress for rooftop tents, model 120 x 225 cm

Why is cold foam used as a mattress in rooftop tents?

Cold foam is characterized by its high resilience and open-pore structure. It reacts quickly to movements, ensuring that you don’t “sink into the foam.” Compared to memory foam, it generally remains cooler because it dissipates heat more effectively. The firm structure also provides even support across the entire surface.

Ideal for your 120 x 225 cm roof tent.

When it comes to rooftop tents, weight, pack size, and hygiene are crucial. Your memory foam mattress offers an ideal balance of comfort and practicality: it is relatively lightweight, easy to turn and maintain, and still provides stable and comfortable support for two people. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it is hardly susceptible to dust or mites – a particularly beneficial feature for allergy sufferers and people with asthma.

Maintenance & Lifespan

To ensure your mattress lasts a long time, we recommend regularly rotating and airing it out. The removable cover can be machine washed at 30 °C – this will keep everything fresh and hygienic.
