THE FOUNDATION
Where should your table go?
Where would you like to eat or work? The key question is whether a structurally sound furniture wall is available beside your seat.
Wie viel Platz hast du an der Wand?
A narrow plate does not make a weak wall suitable.
For thin or flexible walls, we recommend the wider standard mounting plate. Consider reinforcement behind the furniture wall as well – the small Smart mounting plate does not replace a structurally sound surface.
Mehr Abstand zur Wand.Mehr Platz zum Schwenken.
BRAUCHE ICH EINEN GAP?
Can the arm swivel freely past the wall?
If the arm is too close to the wall, it will collide while swivelling and your Lagun can no longer rotate freely. The GAP spacer moves the complete mounting assembly approximately 25 mm away from the wall, giving the arm more clearance.
Check the desired swivel path at the actual mounting position: will the arm, handle or tabletop touch the wall, seat or upholstery? If the additional clearance is sufficient, the GAP spacer is the right solution.
Do the arm and handles have enough clearance? Then you do not need a GAP spacer.
Wie werden GAP, Platte und Bein verbunden?

Wall → GAP frame → mounting plate → table leg.
The GAP is an open frame matching the format of the standard or Smart mounting plate. The mounting plate completely covers the open centre, so once installed you see only the spacing from the wall, not an open hole.
The table leg slides onto the dovetail guide of the mounting plate and is secured with the clamping handle. It does not pass through the GAP. The standard and compact GAP spacers each fit their corresponding mounting plate.

Lieber bündig oder aufgesetzt?
Gut zu wissen: Bei Bodenmontage entfällt die Höhenverstellung. Passende Schrauben für deinen tragfähigen Bodenaufbau besorgst du separat.
What should I consider during installation?
The mounting plate requires a stable, structurally sound surface. Plan the seat height, mounting height and unobstructed swivel range before drilling. For both wall and floor mounting, the fasteners must suit the material and construction.
The table leg slides onto the mounting plate using its dovetail guide. Release the clamping handle to adjust or remove it and tighten it again before use. A second, separately installed mounting plate lets you use the same system in another position in your vehicle or boat.

Which height is comfortable for you?
Sit in the position you will use and decide at which height you can eat or type comfortably. The table-leg length alone is not the finished table height.
How to check your seating height before buying
- Sit comfortably: Use your actual seat cushion and measure where the tabletop should be.
- Check the mounting point: Mark the clear, structurally sound area. The lower it is, the more table-leg length you will generally need.
- Allow for every component: Include the arm, under-table mounting plate and tabletop thickness. The leg dimension is not the finished table height.
Unsure between two lengths? Send us a photo with the seat, desired tabletop and mounting heights. With a floor mount, the height is fixed; the extra adjustment range of the two-handle table leg offers no benefit there.

Bring the table to you.
Pull the table towards you for meals, then swivel it out of the way. The Lagun arm and tabletop rotate independently – as far as your interior allows.
The arm extension is not a telescopic part: a second swivel arm is attached to the 400 mm base arm with a connecting pin. This creates a second pivot point that lets you move the tabletop to additional seating positions. The actual range of movement depends on the joint angles, furniture and tabletop.
We recommend the 300 mm extension. A second 400 mm arm creates considerably more leverage and significantly reduces the load capacity. Use 400 mm only when you genuinely need the additional reach, and always choose a small, lightweight tabletop.
Do I really need a second arm?
Picture the path from the mounting point to your seat. If one arm reaches, your setup stays more compact. The extension adds another pivot point – useful for a wider seating area or changing seating positions.
The arm lengths do not automatically equal the same straight-line reach: angles, joints, the tabletop and furniture limit the actual swivel range.

How quickly do you need the space back?
Both versions let the tabletop rotate. Decide whether you also want it to tilt out of the way, for example to clear a passage.
Check the passage first, then choose the tilting function.
If swivelling the tabletop aside gives you enough room, you do not need the tilting mount. If the passage is narrow or the tabletop obstructs the entrance, tilting it away may be more convenient. Leave sufficient clearance beside the tabletop for the 90° movement.
The Lagun system can also be dismantled without tools for storage. Before travelling, remove and secure the system as described in the instructions – a tilted tabletop is not secured for transport.

Which material would you like for your tabletop?
Your Lagun is the supporting table leg system. Add a tabletop to complete the table. Compare materials and finishes here or use your own tabletop.
What matters when using my own tabletop?
Measure not only the usable tabletop area but also the clearance needed for swivelling, entering and, where applicable, tilting it away. A lightweight tabletop is easier to move and places less strain on the extended arm.
Make sure the material and tabletop thickness hold the mounting screws securely. Choose screws that cannot break through the top surface. Follow the instructions for the permitted tabletop size and load; with a second arm, a smaller and lighter tabletop is particularly important.
How to enjoy your table for years to come
Tighten the handles before use and check that everything is secure. Use the table for eating, reading or working – not as a support when standing up. For storage, release the handles and dismantle the system without tools.

What would you like us to customise?
Does a handle hit the wall in your seating area? Or is your ideal table height between two leg lengths? We can reverse the handles and shorten the table leg to your required length.
Beispiele: Wann hilft eine Anpassung?
- Tight corner: The arm handle hits the wall while swivelling, so you want it on the opposite side.
- Difficult to reach: The table-leg handle is not easily accessible, so tell us which position would work better.
- Table too high: A 500 mm table leg should have a finished metal length of 450 mm, so 50 mm of metal is removed.
Which handle should be reversed?
Enter the finished metal length, measured from the start to the end of the metal section, excluding the black plastic table-leg pin. Enter “450 mm metal length” if that is the length that should remain after shortening.
At least 170 mm of metal must remain. Measure carefully before ordering; the metal length is not the finished table height.
