WHETHER SIDE, STOMACH OR BACK SLEEPER: A MEMORY FOAM PILLOW FOR ALL SLEEP TYPES

Whether on your back, stomach or side: thanks to the two differently shaped pillow sides and the height differences, the pillow is suitable for every sleep type, and you can vary your sleeping position on the RECOVERY PILLOW as you wish – just as it feels good for you. It is only important that the ergonomically shaped neck arch is facing your body, thus optimally supporting your shoulder, neck area, and muscular & fascial structures and protecting them thanks to the rounded shape. This way, you avoid tension.

 

DEPENDING ON YOUR SLEEP TYPE, WE RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING PILLOW SIDES:

Side sleepers If you prefer to sleep on your side, the back of the pillow without the head cavity is particularly suitable for you. Do you often change to a supine position while sleeping or do you prefer to lie a little lower? Then, as a side sleeper, you can also find space on the front of the pillow in the head cavity or to its left and right in a side position. The neck arch of the BLACKROLL® RECOVERY PILLOW is shaped to fill your shoulder-neck triangle and ends before your shoulders - make sure it faces you and the straight pillow edge points upwards.

Back sleepers The ergonomic neck arch and the head cavity on the front of the pillow are particularly suitable for back sleepers because the head gently sinks in, the neck is supported, and the spine is relieved. The head depression of the BLACKROLL® RECOVERY PILLOW ensures a relaxed lying posture and a good sleeping sensation. Do you like to lie a little higher? Then switch to the back of the pillow without a head cavity.

Stomach sleepers The front of the pillow with a head cavity is particularly suitable for people who prefer to sleep on their stomach. Especially for stomach sleepers, it is important that the pillow is not too high, as this can lead to neck and shoulder tension.

If you place your head in the pillow cavity, you will lie a little deeper. Alternatively, you can also use the back of the pillow if you prefer a smooth pillow surface.

 

PILLOW FOR HOME AND ON THE GO

The BLACKROLL® RECOVERY PILLOW is extremely small and handy with a size of 50 x 30 centimeters. Due to its dimensions and the fact that you can roll up the pillow in a few simple steps, you always have your personal relaxation and regeneration tool with you. Especially when traveling, to sleep better in unfamiliar beds and to feel at home. Consistent sleeping conditions and sleep routines ensure healthy sleep so that you are awake and rested in the morning.

Since the pillow can be rolled up to save space, it fits into any travel bag. The elastic, breathable high-tech memory foam ensures that the pillow retains its original shape even after unrolling. Thanks to the dirt-repellent pillow bag, the pillow remains hygienically clean.

 

THE MATERIAL: BREATHABLE MEMORY FOAM

Since we lose up to half a liter of fluid at night, and about half of that through our heads, the materials used in the BLACKROLL® RECOVERY PILLOW are designed to regulate moisture.

Thanks to the elastic high-tech memory foam, the pillow remains extremely dimensionally stable even after unrolling, adapts to the natural sleeping position, and can thus prevent tension in the shoulder and neck area. Ventilation channels inside the foam ensure that no moisture can accumulate here and that the interior is adequately ventilated.

The foam core of the pillow is protected from dirt and moisture by an elastic cover and is therefore neither removable nor washable.

The quick-drying pillowcase is washable with a standard detergent at 40 degrees Celsius to ensure the highest hygiene standards. Fine ventilation holes in the fabric ensure that the foam core is adequately ventilated. The pillowcase is particularly soft and cuddly for an extra comfortable sleeping experience. Another pillowcase can be used but is not necessary.

A compact pillow bag for on the go protects the pillow from dirt and moisture. Water simply rolls off it; at the same time, the bag is breathable and allows enough air to reach the pillow.

 

MANUFACTURING

In its manufacturing process, BLACKROLL® remains true to its standard of exclusively using environmentally friendly, pollutant-free materials for the production of its products. The BLACKROLL® RECOVERY PILLOW is produced in Germany near Stuttgart and is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Class 1. Many production steps are carried out by hand. Minor deviations, especially on the pillowcase, may therefore occur. In the production of the foam, approx. 30% natural oils are added, which enables a more sustainable and environmentally friendly production compared to standard chemical processes. This results in a different scent of the pillow than what is accustomed from other pillow manufacturers.
